Client: Cosmic Craft is a theoretical mashup of astronomy and craft beer, a one-stop-shop for beer enthusiasts and star-gazers. With each brew inspired by an astronomical phenomenon, Cosmic Craft beers all come with their own perfect educational pairing.
Challenge : How to streamline Cosmic Craft’s two specialties into a tangible experience.
The branding system uses crisp, bold imagery inspired by badges and diagrams seen in modern space exploration.
The beers get their names directly from the stellar happenings they’re inspired by. These events are depicted as four-color badge-like illustrations, front and center, on top of a “space suit white” background.
Each beer is suited up in a monochromatic color scheme. Accompanying the main badge is a simplified icon, and a flavor profile “control center”. The control center style infographics offers an overview of the color, bitterness, and strength of the beer before cracking it open.
